What's New?
Hello Penguins!
There's a lot of excitement for ninjas today because it's the very first time that Sensei has made an appearance outside of the Dojo! Our favorite ninja master will be making appearances in the Ninja Hideout until July 5, and we hope you get a chance to meet him.
With his visit, there's a Martial Artworks catalog update with a new item called the Cloud Wave Bracers. They'll give ninjas the extra ability to disappear into a cloud before turning invisible... Let us know if you'll be saving up your coins so you can add them to your inventories. (I will!)
The team was really excited about having the possibility to meet Sensei and I was thinking that if I got the chance, I might ask him if he likes puffles. What would you say or ask if you got the chance to hang out with Sensei? Let us know!
Until then...Waddle on!

There are tons of things you said you like about becoming a ninja. Thanks for all your awesome responses. Here's one that we liked a lot:

My favorite part of training to be a Ninja is playing Card Jitsu! Its so fun to play with the other penguins. Just think; you could be playing Card Jitsu with people all around the World!! How cool is that, right?
Thanks, Tweety Girl3! There's a new play coming soon and the team was talking about all the ways to get creative at the Stage... costumes, scripts, Switchbox 3000, directing, being part of the audience - and more! We were wondering what you think. What's your favorite thing to do at the Stage?

Sensei is going to show up in the Ninja Hideout, and it got me thinking that there are many of you who may not know how Sensei made his first appearance on Club Penguin. It was just after Halloween 2008, and storm clouds had darkened the island. The storm was fiercest on the mountaintops, and the snow-covered Dojo was struck by lightning!
Lots of you worked with hardhats and jackhammers to repair the hole and shovel off the mounds of snow. Some of you noticed a strange figure clothed in a brown, ragged cloak who helped to clear the snow away. A couple of weeks later Sensei revealed his identity; He had been living on Club Penguin, and had finally chosen to make himself known!

Were you there when Sensei showed up in Club Penguin?
In other news: Check out the fireworks today. Lots of you are celebrating different things this time of year so enjoy!
Until then...Waddle on!

We're really excited to let you know that after a lot of people asking, and some hard work to make it happen, we've got another language joining our community! Over the past year we've given the Portuguese and French languages big Club Penguin greetings, and now we'd really love for you to help us welcome Spanish.

We're still in the beginning stages, so there still might be some bugs to fix, but we knew you'd want to be the very first to help say hello (hola)!
If you log in and choose the Spanish language at the top right of your screen, you can help let our brand new community know how excited we are that they're here.
Hello! -¡Hola!
Welcome! - ¡Bienvenidos!
Congratulations! - ¡Felicitaciones!
Waddle on! - ¡A pingüinear!
You're cool! -¡Eres genial!
Let us know what you think!

Starting today, members can head to the Night Club to purchase exclusive tracks to take into the DJ3K game! We've been hearing that yellow puffles are excited about the game update... If you've got one of these artistic creatures, you may want to try taking it into the game with you!

In other news: Check back on Monday because we have something really special to announce! And keep your eyes to the skies because there are going to be some fireworks happening sometime soon. As always, we'd love to hear from you so let us know what you think.
Until then...Waddle on!

The team loved hearing about your favorite music in Club Penguin last week! All the responses were awesome -- here's one that we liked a lot:

My favorite music in Club Penguin has to be the music played at Music Jam 08.From pop to hip-hop, there was music for everyone. I had a great time playing with my all-time favorite band, The Penguin Band and taking center stage and pretending I was actually in a band! We also made our own music with DJ3K,a game launched for the party, which was also very cool.
Thanks, Puffyjc! Some of you have been asking about Sensei's upcoming visit, so we wanted to ask: What's your favorite part of training to be a ninja?
Leave your comments and we'll pick an answer to feature on next week's blog! Try to keep your answers between 50 - 75 words. That way, we'll have room to show more of them.

With the groovy music updates coming to the DJ3K game and igloos this Friday, I thought it'd be kinda cool to talk to someone on the team who does a lot of the musical stuff around here...

Q: There's a lot of music in Club Penguin. How you do decide what music goes where?
A: We'd like the music to support the feeling of the areas and the party themes.
Q: What's your favorite part of making music and sound effects?
A: Working with music and sound effects (sfx) is creative and fun, and we hope it adds another dimension to everyone's experiences on the island.
Q: At last year's Music Jam party, I seem to remember music called "bubble pop" - is that short for bubble gum pop? Are there other kinds of candy music?
A: With that song we were originally inspired by the Bubblegum Pop style of music. But with music this sweet, it's all candy.
We'd love to know what you think about the sfx all over the island!

Stay tuned this week for some music updates! On Friday you'll find some new music in your igloo, and that's not all. Also coming on Friday is a DJ3K update in the Night Club. Members will be able to purchase exclusive music tracks from a special catalog - and then take them right into the game!

There's been some talk of yellow puffles being quite enthusiastic about the update to the DJ3K game... We'll have to see what that's all about on Friday.
Until then...Waddle on!

Hello Penguins!
There's always a lot going on in Club Penguin, and it's hard to believe that we're already into the third week of 101 Days of Fun!! During the next few months there's so much happening! I don't want to give everything away, of course, but there are some things that are too exciting for you to miss. Here's a sneak peek of some of the things to come:
The team's been working hard to get a ton of stuff ready to make the next few months really special:
Parties - I can't give them all away... but did someone say "MASSIVE music festival"?
Costumes & items at the Stage! (Ruby's coming back!)
New clothing, wigs, and furniture!
Game upgrades - Members will see (and hear) some cool changes to DJ3K and more!
New Rooms - There's going to be some construction - renovations AND new places!
Special Appearances - I can't say too much, but some of our favorite
penguins will be visiting... And there might be a chance to hang out
with a wise Card-Jitsu master...
Let us know what you'd like to see happen over the next few months in Club Penguin!
Until then... Waddle on!

Hello Penguins!
Did you have a chance to check out the Dojo Igloo contest winners in
the newspaper? There are some cool ninja igloos out there. And speaking of
igloos, if you check yours out, you'll see the new Better Igloos
catalog that's arrived!
In Other News: A new pin has been hidden somewhere on the island and the 101 Days of Fun activity is challenging you to not only find the pin, but give clues to other penguins who are looking for it...
It'll be great to see what kind of creative clues you come up with to help your buddies - Let us know about your quest to find today's pin!
Until then...Waddle on!
