The new clothing catalog and Fashion Show are almost ready! For those of you that asked, the event will launch by tomorrow morning, Penguin Standard Time. Thanks for your patience, everyone!

It's been busy here at Club Penguin HQ! For the last few months, we've dedicated a lot of the Club Penguin team to make the experience faster, and to squash some big bugs that were getting in the way.
Here are a few examples of what we've done:
- Faster loading: One of the things we've heard is that you want to log on to Club Penguin faster. We're listening, and have been working on a bunch of improvements... everything from room and game speed to server upgrades.
- Blue screen bug: Some of you were getting disconnected while seeing a blue loading screen. Guess what? The team squashed this pesky bug!! Thanks for being so patient.
- Small screen trick: Did you figure out this trick yet? Now you can switch between Small Screen and Big Screen without logging off!
We're working on more improvements, so stay tuned as we continue to make Club Penguin even better!

I like to save coins by being a tour guide and secret agent! It feels good because those jobs mean helping penguins and the money I get from them helps even more people world wide! I also like playing games like connect four and mancala because I get to meet all kinds of new friends and that means not only am I earning money to donate, but the person I'm playing with is too!

Each year we celebrate the holidays by making a big difference in the world. Ever since we started "Coins for Change," more than $4.5 million dollars has been given to help hundreds of thousands of kids, families, and animals around the world!
This is the fifth anniversary of Coins for Change, so we wanted to do something extra-special to celebrate! I'm very excited to say that we're giving DOUBLE this year!
This year, you'll get to decide how to share $2,000,000 between three worthy causes:
- Providing medical help
- Protecting the Earth
- Building safe places
Coins for Change will launch with the Holiday Party on December 15, so now's a great time to start saving up your virtual coins!

Earlier this month we announced a virtual coat drive to help support families in need across America. We asked you to send in drawings of penguins wearing coats.
We received thousands and thousands of pictures from all around the world! We're so inspired by all the time and effort you put into your drawings. You are amazing!
I'm happy to announce that Rockhopper will be appearing in New York City this Friday!! I'll also be there, and can't wait to meet some of you. Here's what you need to know:
- When: Friday December 2 8:00am EST
- Where: Good Morning America Studios - Times Square, New York
- What to bring: a real coat to donate to the Warm Coats Warm Hearts campaign
In other news... The first 300 people to donate a real coat at the event will get a Club Penguin plush toy prize!

It's so hard to choose since I like all items! But, my all time favorite would be the Box-Portal! It's totally AWESOME and I hope it'll be back on April 2012! Since we've launched a new ninja game each year, many of you have been wondering when we will launch Card-Jitsu Snow.
The team is still working hard on creating a great Snow experience, but unfortunately it's not going to be ready for a while. We don't want to launch it until it's the best it can be. So, we've decided to do something different for ninjas this year, and we think you'll love it. There are some BIG surprises in store...
- We're releasing a huge new Card-Jitsu Party. For the very first time, we're decorating almost the whole island with a ninja look!
- There will be new decorations, new items, new Stamps and new rooms available only at the party!
- For the first time, penguins with free accounts will be able to play Card-Jitsu Fire and Water during the party!!
- We also have a BIG surprise for those who are able to earn their Fire Suit or Water Suit.

Remember our last Reviewed by You blog, where Billybob asked you to describe the weirdest Halloween puffle hat you could think of? Well, we picked one comment from each language, and an artist drew all four of them!
On the English blog, Aguon1 had this idea:
My idea would be: a spider puffle hat. It would be brown and it would have the legs and the head on it. It would have the eyes on it the would be big and gloomy. It should also have a buggy mouth on it and have black stripes on the legs.
In French, Gopinoo had this clever idea:
For me, the spookiest puffle hat ever would be a hat in the shape of a jellyfish but with snakes instead of tentacles. Waddle on!
In Portuguese, Elvis524 left a suggestion that I thought was quite fabulous:
I guess the best Halloween hat would be something like a mountain with trees and the Living Sled on top!
In Spanish, Layla6765 made this amazingly creative suggestion:
The most terrifying puffle hat would be weird but creepy. It would be a mixture of a witch hat and a zombie hat with a unicorn or Pegasus horn to make it silly. The result would be a witch hat with gears and scars and a horn on the top. It would be funny to add stars to the horn.

As you know, we just launched the new Chat upgrade and new Friends experience this week. It turns out they're both incredibly popular! There have been so many friend requests being sent back and forth that it's even made it difficult to log in.
To make sure you're able to login, we'll be limiting the number of friends to 100 this weekend. This is a temporary fix while we continue to optimize. You'll see your full friend list again once we're finished a bit of maintenance.

Happy77 here. Just wanted to give you a quick update. I've heard that some of you aren't able to log into Club Penguin, or that your Friends list looks empty. The team is working behind-the-scenes to fix these things right now. Thanks for being patient with this stuff.
While you're waiting, I thought you might want to test out a couple new game prototypes on Beta Team!
To join Beta Team, click on this link, then enter your penguin name and password. Once you've logged into Beta Team, type list to see the file list.
We added a couple new rough concepts there: Goalie, Icebergs and Puffle Bowling.
Make sure you let us know what you think, and ways that we could make them better.

I'm excited to say... the new Chat Friends and Chat are available now!
The team has been working really hard on these new features for you guys. This is all brand new technology for Club Penguin, and we're really excited to finally share it with you!
Here are a few brand new things we've added:
- New Chat: Chatting with your friends is now easier than ever. It's way faster to make sentences by clicking the word blocks as they appear:
- Pictures of Friends: Now you'll see pictures of your friends instead of just a list of names. So it's faster than ever to see all your friends' outfits!
- Tag your Best Friends: It's way easier to keep track of your best friends now. You can make someone a best friend on your list by clicking the little medal above their picture. Check it out:
- Find your Friends Faster: It's so much easier to find friends, because now you can search for them. Just type in your friend's name, then send them a friend request. They don't have to be logged in to get your request!

Last month I posted a video blog where I mentioned that we're working on a brand new Friends experience. I also mentioned the new Chat system that some of you helped test on Beta Team.
Guess what? We're getting ready to launch them both very soon! These are two of the biggest system improvements we've ever made, so we're incredibly excited to share them with you. Here's a sneak peek of the new Friends icon in the toolbar:

Halloween Stamps: These ones only be available at the Halloween Party, so see if you can collect them all before they're gone! Here's the stamps you can get, and how to earn them:
Igloo Contest: You can send in your spooky Halloween igloos until October 25. Click on the "Submit" button in your igloo once you've finished decorating your igloo. The judges have already found some amazing igloos out there! Make sure you don't change your igloo design until the winners have been announced. Check out this awesome igloo from Yann51300:
Haunted Mansion: All penguins can visit the Haunted Mansion at the party! The ghost costume is available inside the Haunted Mansion, so don't forget to pick that up.
