In the meantime, you can practice your agent skills by doing the previous missions - and continue to keep the island safe. If you're not an agent yet, if your penguin is 30 days old, you can click the M at the top right of your screen. Then click the button that says: "Become a Secret Agent". You'll get to take a quiz to apply.

So many of you've been talking about the orange puffle and they're finally ready for adoption at the Pet Shop! Starting today you can take 'em back to your igloo!
I've talked to the team and they're telling me that this new furry creature's totally unique and full of surprises. We'd love to hear your orange puffle stories if you have any!
In other news, Rockhopper's in view from the telescope at the top of the Lighthouse - I wonder what our favorite pirate's going to be bringing?

It's the time of year when we honor the island's best pets - puffles. Way back when Club Penguin first launched, there weren't any puffles at all. But a lot of you asked to have some kind of pet to adopt and we decided to make up a completely new creature. That's how the puffle came to be. Actually, you guys even decided on the name "puffle"!
Last year we showed a couple of the original sketches back from November 2005 when artists first started sketching what a penguin's pet might look like - we wanted to show some of those again (in case you missed them) plus a few more that have never been seen before.

The new Snow & Sports catalog comes out on Thursday! We asked what sports you and your friends like playing most around the island and Wurmpul said:
I play sports with all my buddies we do soccer,ice hockey,football, and sometimes basketball mostly our teams our red and blue but sometimes we go crazy using green and black. When we get tired we go to my igloo for some penguinade then jump right back up for some more.
Lots of you have spotted Rockhopper in the telescope and it looks like he'll be arriving in Club Penguin next week!! So we'd like to know - what do you like doing to welcome him to the island? Do you throw parties at the Beach, dress up, talk like a pirate - or something else?

The Puffle Party is still going strong for a few more days, and I hope you and your puffles are having a blast! I got a kick out of the Puffle Show, with the Puffle Grooming station and all the races going on. What did you think of it?
Some of you may have noticed that the party was launched earlier than expected last week. This was part of our new earlier launch times that I mentioned last Tuesday.
This week, things will be happening a little earlier than usual again. The Puffle Party will be wrapping up on Thursday morning Penguin Standard Time, and the new Sports Catalog will be launching then too. It also means a special surprise will be arriving early at the Pet Shop...
So make sure to enjoy the Puffle Party while it's here, and let us know what your favorite parts were!

Hello Penguins!
The Puffle Party's in full swing and it looks like you're having fun with your pets! We've heard from some of you that you've spotted a furry orange creature in a box somewhere... And we've been seeing you try to lure it out by turning orange and offering it food. Good luck getting that puffle to come out!!
Lots of you have told us that you like the puffle toys, so we wanted to give you some info about new ones. This is from our Series #4 Pet Puffles:
What do you think? Along with puffles, there's more new stuff coming - including Limited Edition Penguins and Mix 'N Match figures! The toys are coming soon to a bunch of places including Disney Stores, Toys "R" Us, Target, and the CP Online Shop.

Last week, we wanted to hear the coolest adventure you and your buddies have gone on with your puffles. Sidiceage said:
The coolest adventure I have had with a puffle was, my pink puffle, named pink, and I went aqua grabbing. That was so much fun we went exploring everywhere. We saw a giant clam and slipped away with it's big pearl, We cleaned up soda barrels, we earned a bunch of coins together. It was the best time ever! I cant wait to have more adventures with my other puffle's. See you at the puffle party!!

Last Thursday when we had to launch earlier than normal, we got a ton of comments that you liked getting the new stuff early! You may know new content usually launches later on Thursdays (Penguin Standard Time) and we've heard from some of you that when there are problems with it, you have to wait because the team's not always around to get things fixed right away.
We're working to make things better and wanted you to be the first to know that starting tomorrow we're going to launch content earlier in the day. Hopefully this will mean fewer bugs... and tomorrow it will mean that everyone gets more time to play at the Puffle Party!
Thanks for your patience with the changes - and if you can, we'd appreciate if you could help spread the news to other penguins! In the meantime, what are you looking forward to at the Puffle Party?

Hey Agents!
It's been over a year since the original Elite Penguin Force for Nintendo DS came out. We've heard that lots of you like it and you've even been asking if we're making another one. We're really excited to be the first to tell you about the brand NEW EPF game for the Nintendo DS that'll be released mid 2010!! Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force: Herbert's Revenge will have cool stuff you said you liked from the first game - and TONS of new surprises.
Since the team's building it right now, we want to be able to show you some behind-the-scenes work we're doing. Just for a start, here's a sketch of something you'll be seeing in the game...

Hello Penguins!
As you know, our new servers are up and we wanted to make sure nothing else was late - so we've decided to launch some stuff early!! Thanks again for your patience as we try to make things better. If you can't see the change, try clearing your computer's cache.
As of right now, a bit early, you can grab your friends and head to the Stage to check out Secrets of the Bamboo Forest!
We're hoping to see lots of you searching the island all dressed up in the new costumes... and trying to find the Golden Feather! Once you have it, you'll be able to get across the river in the Stage and access the Phoenix Queen's castle. Think there might be a secret inside? Good Luck!
In Other News: There's a new Puffle Furniture catalog in the Pet Shop! The team hopes you like all the items - and thinking that there might be lots of happy (and clean!!) puffles around the island...

Good news! We've squished some bugs and the Club Penguin Times has launched. Thanks for your patience.

What I'm most looking forward to? It's so hard to decide, with so much happening in Club Penguin! But I think I have to say, I can't wait for the puffle party! It was so fun last year, and it was great when the white puffle came out of the wild! My white puffle's called Sooty! I wonder if there are any more puffles yet to be discovered...

Big news! Starting this Friday there's a brand new play at the Stage! Secrets of the Bamboo Forest has a few surprises and the team's been working really hard to get it all ready. I shouldn't give away all the secrets, but the team wanted to show you this:

Hello Penguins!
Head to the Gift Shop today for the new Penguin Style catalog! Check out the Penguins at Work section for a Pet Shop Apron... it might come in handy over the next few weeks.
And speaking of Penguin Style, we heard from a lot of you that you've been wanting everyone to be able to have flags on your player cards - to show your country's flag or even to show support for another country. The team really liked your idea, and starting today everyone can buy flags!

Sounds like you had a blast at the Cave Expedition. Last week we asked your favorite part, and Clarnico 999 said:
WOW! The mine and the new caves ROCK! I especially like the cave full of treasure, with the glittering pool of water. And then it leads to an AMAZING watery kingdom. Its the perfect place for divers, mermaids and merpenguins, cave penguins or I've even spotted a few pirates looking for treasure! Its great fun for everyone!
Even though those areas are closed for now there's LOTS of stuff coming up, and we want to know what you're most excited about! Is it the party, a brand new stage, one of the catalogs or something else? We'd love to hear what you think!

Greetings, Penguins!
On Monday, Billybob showed a hint of an upcoming celebration and lots of you guessed that there's a Puffle Party coming up! The pic of the green square puffle made me LOL. Nobody's saying too much yet but I thought you'd want to know some more so I talked to someone who's helping to plan it.
Do we need to be puffle owners to be part of this party?
You don't have to own a puffle, but hopefully you enjoy being around
them! Of course, we do encourage puffle owners to bring their puffles
to the party... there may be activities for the little creatures...
Is there anything we should do to prepare for this event?
Practice your snowball tossing skills! Also, if you own a puffle, make sure to take good care of it.
Can we expect any surprises?
Every time we plan a party we try to add a few new things and this
party's no exception. But if we told you more than that, it wouldn't be
a surprise...
